If you need copies of your personal health information, you may email medicalrecords@ansongh.com to request the records. Please include the patient’s name, date of birth, the records you are requesting, and your phone number. You may also call 325-823-1230 or 325-823-1182 or visit the Health Information Management office located in the Hospital, to request your records.

Anson General Hospital and Anson Family Wellness Clinic are here to care for you, the patient. We will make every effort to promptly address and resolve any patient experience or care concerns brought to our attention. If you have a complaint or would like to file a formal grievance, please contact the Anson Hospital District Compliance Department at 325-823-1152 or email compliance@ansongh.com. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Anson Hospital District will hold a regular meeting and public hearing on the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2027 on:
Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026
Time: 5:45 p.m.
Place: Anson Hospital District, 101 Avenue J, Anson, Texas 79501
A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection via this link or during normal business hours at 101 Avenue J, Anson, Texas.
Any resident or taxpayer of the District is entitled to appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any item included in the proposed budget. Following the hearing, the Board of Directors will consider and approve proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026–2027
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow citizens the opportunity to provide comments and ask questions regarding the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. The meeting will be open to the public and will be held in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code, Chapter 551)

A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington (2012), Ryan brings 13 years of expertise in healthcare accounting across rural, urban, and home health/hospice sectors. He joined Anson General Hospital as a financial consultant in December of 2023 and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in December of 2025. Ryan is dedicated to driving financial excellence and long-term viability, ensuring that the Anson community continues to receive high-quality, sustainable healthcare services.

An Anson native, Lisa started her career with Anson General Hospital District in 2004 as a receptionist for the Anson Family Wellness Clinic. Since joining the District, she has been committed to continuously expanding her knowledge and skills, now serving as Human Resources and the District’s Administrative Assistant. Lisa works tirelessly, partnering with other leaders, to ensure that all District employees are offered fair and equitable compensation as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Lisa takes pride in being a part of Anson General Hospital District’s commitment to rural healthcare excellence.

About Julie
Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Julie enlisted in the Air Force and retired after 21 years of unwavering dedication. During her military service, she served in the healthcare services division, including as a healthcare manager. Julie is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a degree in education. She joined Anson General Hospital District in July of 2024, as the Anson Family Wellness Clinic Manager and assumed the role of Revenue Cycle Director/RHC Administrator in September of 2025.
Julie brings with her extensive leadership experience in healthcare operations and patient care management. She has acquired a love for Anson’s small-town environment and has a strong passion for rural healthcare.

About Anna
Anna graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and immediately assumed a Charge Nurse position at Anson General Hospital. In 2020, after years of dedication, she accepted the Chief Nursing Officer role, becoming an instrumental leader in the District.
Anna is a lifelong resident of West Texas and takes pride in her job and in her community. She has committed her career to rural healthcare and the assurance that a “gold standard of care” is provided for all patients.

Justa is a 1993 graduate of Texas State Technical College and a 1995 graduate of Angelo State University. She has extensive experience in rural healthcare and a diverse nursing background including numerous roles in acute patient care, healthcare facility leadership, HIT leadership, client/patient experience and innovation. Her passion is fueling the continuous evolution of rural healthcare experiences, ensuring that quality health and wellness options are available for all rural communities. Justa joined Anson General Hospital District in January of 2025 as Chief Operating Officer and assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer in September of 2025.

Kristi began her nursing journey as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 2006 after earning her VN certificate from Cisco Junior College. That same year, she joined Anson General Hospital, quickly finding her passion for rural patient care. Over the years, Kristi’s dedication, compassion, and commitment have made her a valuable part of the Anson Team. Always striving to grow in her profession, Kristi became a Registered Nurse in 2015, earning her degree from Cisco Junior College. She has held several key positions and in September 2025 was promoted to Quality/Risk/Compliance Officer.
Kristi is committed to the community, her peers, and the patients that she serves; she has a heart for helping others and utilizes her leadership skills to empower others on the Team while ensuring safe, quality healthcare.

Bobby is a United States Air Force Veteran who retired in 2010, after 25 years of unwavering service. Following his military retirement he worked as a registered nurse and continued pursuing higher education. In 2018, he earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Hardin-Simmons University and began his career as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Bobby is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care, managing acute and chronic conditions, and promoting preventive health. He is committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and collaboration with other healthcare professionals across the care continuum.

About Leah
Leah is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified family nurse practitioner. She started her nursing career in 2000, and for 16 years, provided exceptional care in various acute care settings, including surgery, cardiac cath lab, and the emergency department. Throughout her career, she continued to pursue higher education and in 2016, Leah joined Anson General Hospital’s Emergency Department as a nurse practitioner. In 2023, she assumed a position at the Anson Family Wellness Clinic and in 2025 became the primary provider for Anson Total Wellness. She is passionate about ensuring that Anson and the surrounding communities have access to quality care with a special focus on integrative health and wellness.

About Britlee
Britlee is an Anson native and started her nursing career in 2014 after graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree. Early in her career, she worked with cardiac patients in both progressive care and the telemetry unit. In 2020, Britlee graduated with a Master of Science Nursing Degree from the University of Texas-Arlington and became a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. For 5 years, she worked in family practice, community health, and urgent care.
Britlee has a passion for making a meaningful impact in rural healthcare and the community she grew up in and joined Anson Family Wellness Clinic in August of 2025. She is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified as a medical examiner with the Texas Department of Transportation.

About Dr. Johnson
Dr. Jessica Johnson is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified family physician with a commitment to serving rural communities in Texas. She received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, in 2014. She also completed her residency in Family Medicine at TTUHSC in 2017. Her extensive training has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. As a proud member of the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Johnson stays informed on the latest advancements and best practices in the field of family medicine. She joined Anson Family Wellness Clinic in 2020 and currently serves as the Clinic’s Medical Director, Anson Total Wellness Medical Director, and the Chief Medical Officer of Anson General Hospital. Dr. Johnson is passionate about providing accessible and quality healthcare to rural populations, striving to keep care local and personal.
